Gold at Three-Week High, Silver Hits $30

( From GoldAlert.Com )
Gold futures leapt to a three-week high on Tuesday, with the COMEX April contract settling up $15.90, or 1.2%, at $1,364.10 per ounce.
This was the highest close for COMEX gold futures since January 19, and came as the yellow metal shrugged off China’s third interest rate hike in the past four months.
Silver powered higher alongside gold, reaching $30 for the first time since January 3. The March silver futures contract finished higher by $0.93, or 3.2%, at $30.27 per ounce on the COMEX.
